I'm looking for power systems to supply power to IceFree3 sensors and am wondering what others have done in the past. The sites are not close to any grid power and therefore would require stand-alone power. Additionally the sites are located at northern latitudes and must be reliable for long periods of time with no access in deep snow. Any suggestions, related issues, or advice?
