Any way to measure current in IceFree3 heating coil, like the voltmeter monitors the iPack

Hello, We will have NRG IceFree3 sensors installed at a remote location where power to the heating coils is sometimes intermittent. Can anyone think of a way to attach some form of sensor to the heating coil that it would interface with the SymphoniePLUS logger so that remote data analysts will know when the power has stopped and thus to throw out any present data from the IceFree3. Thanks for your help.

A bit old for replying, but I would expect that it should work fine to use a voltmeter SCM to monitor the voltage on the heating cable. I haven't implemented this yet, but have considered it for some sites.
