Hello, I am looking at a support bulletin from (22 May 2008) and in this bulletin, it explains of problems associated with an epoxy used in the anemometer that could cause a sensor to under-report wind speed. This involved leaking and interfering with the bearing operations, causing the bearing to prematurely fail. The business I work for is looking to buy a large quantity of the anemometer model #40 or #40C, and is looking for assurance that the problem is fixed and what steps have been taken to fix the problem.
