David Carlson Posted December 2, 2009 Report Share Posted December 2, 2009 Across Canada, the smtp server provided by TELUS - smtp.telus.net - generally works with the TELUS CDMA iPacks. However, this is not the case when roaming on the SaskTel network. TELUS may advise to use the SaskTel SMTP server in this area - smtp.sasktel.net. This also will not work because it operates using the wrong port - port 587. iPacks ONLY work with SMTP servers that operate using port 25. For CDMA iPack installations in Saskatchewan I recommend using your own port 25 server, or either www.gmx.com or www.packet-mail.net (Packet Mail is designed specifically for use with iPacks!).
