Julia Austin Posted March 29, 2011 Report Share Posted March 29, 2011 This new winch is currently not approved by NRG for use in raising/lowering 60m XHD towers. With the 80m tower, a longer winch cable is needed to accommodate the five-part line configuration. Raising and lowering the 60m tower with this set-up would require using the outermost wraps of cable, thereby exerting more force on the winch.
