  • Re: IceFree3 Wind Vane accuracy

The specification listed boils down to +/- 3.6 degrees worst case at some point in the sensor's output. Most units through most of their range will be considerably better.

  • IceFree3 Wind Vane accuracy

Hi Guys The specifications for the IceFree3 wind vane gives its accuracy as "potentiometer linearity within 1% ". Can anyone tell me what this would be in degrees? Link to specs page: http://www.nrgsystems.com/sitecore/content/Products/2450.aspx?pf=HeatedSensors Thanks in advance for your help...

Hi Gemma, Good question. Quick answer - no. The IceFree3 is not subect to the same vibratory mode as the #40 anemometer. The IceFree3 is of an entirely different construction. We have not seenany evidence of any of the IceFree series anemometers exhibiting this phenomena. Thanks, Dave
