David Carlson
I was at a site installation yesterday, running cables and installing sensors, and I thought I'd see how installers typically do it. On some occasions, we have mounted the sensors and cables to the booms ahead of time. This can be quite effective and save a lot of time at the site. However, most of our installations are at the top of ridges in the northeast. There is a fair amount of risk of damaging the sensors on the way up. Yesterday we broke up the sensor installation into: installing the booms running the cables installing the sensors This went smoothly. It cut down on the time it took handling all of the necessary tools.
